Artist Statement

I grew up in a family of engineers, a path I naturally followed. During my master’s degree, I had to learn vector drawing for my thesis illustrations. This turning point led me to explore Photoshop, Lightroom, and Silhouette Studio, and I discovered a new passion for graphic design. I've since transitioned my mindset from creative engineering to “engineering art”. I designed our wedding invitations, thank you cards when our babies were born, and milestone posters as they grew up. The art classes I've taken as part of my associate degree in graphic design have further supported my creative journey, but the technical aspect will always influence my art.

My camera, my Mac, and Photoshop are my most important tools. I got my first SLR camera when I was 16 years old. I make digital art from photos of my kids, who also are the inspiration for my work. My style is clean and sleek, and I spend a lot of time finding the perfect typography for the photos. I like to make it look like the text is in the picture and not written on top of it later or put the subjects in my photos in a totally different place.

I can accommodate all printing needs, including brochures, posters, flyers, and more. I also create digital art by combining photography and graphic design. I am currently working on improving my Photoshop skills, so I can make even more beautiful, digital art.
